The film was pretty low budget so my portion of the money was pretty thin. I couldn’t hire anyone, it was just
me. I played everything; piano, mellotron, mini marimba, xylophone, ukulele, organ. I also brought in two
female vocalists Sam Shelton and Tori Haberman. But no guitar because Richard said no guitar or drums; he
just wasn’t into it. I was down with that—I’ve played guitar my whole life.

You're invited to bring works (any medium), practices, ideas, processes, and most importantly, yourselves. Depending on participants' desires, the event can go more towards exhibition, performance, workshop, protest, discussion, intervention, or, more likely, a mix of them. It can also be an opening in terms of contents and aesthetics, now, when artists are indirectly top down guided towards pre-established issues, and their compliance is socially rewarded.

[For “The Story of Painting” I used personal objects bought or given as gifts by friends who wanted to get rid off them alongside rough or humble materials. I wanted to express this quality of ceramics of being fragile but... strong. In addition I put together the problematic of painting -which is considered by common people “Art itself”-, and that of ceramics' -again, considered by everyone something just decorative or functional. Of course, my work “The Story of Painting” can be seen as well as a little joke, looking more like a ready-made than like a crafted ceramics.]
